About Us

Owner, Interventionist, Senior Counsellor
Sue has worked as a counsellor, life coach, interventionist and consultant in addictions and mental health since 1995. She has helped thousands of people to transform lives of suffering in addiction to thriving in recovery. She is well regarded for her expertise, commitment, integrity and professionalism in the addictions treatment field in Canada and the US. She has excellent, long-standing relationships with many other service providers and all of the component parts of addictions treatment in both the public and private sectors so she is able to consistently ensure that people get the right help at the right time.

Fiona has worked since 1988 in a helping capacity in a wide variety of work settings. She is a registered social worker, registered clinical counsellor, trained psychoanalytic psychotherapist and collaborative professional practitioner. In her work she focuses on peoples’ strengths and abilities and assists people in finding meaning in their lives. She works with people – individual adults, couples, and families - who are experiencing problems that negatively affect their quality of life, impede growth and interfere with the development of satisfying relationships.
In addition to individual and family counselling, Fiona assists with groups and recovery management agreements.

Counsellor, Group Facilitator
Steve began training in chemical dependency and has been working in the field ever since. Steve is particularly skilled in empathically connecting with others and walking with them as they navigate their journey of recovery. He has worked in all facets of the recovery arena from detox, outpatient programs, employee and family assistance programs as well as clinical director and continuing care coordinator at a residential treatment center. While his skills cover the entire continuum of care, his greatest strength is his personal experience of working and living the twelve steps. His capacity for caring and going the distance for his clients is boundless. He facilitates the gender specific men’s aftercare group.
