Aftercare

Treatment doesn’t end when residential treatment completes. In fact, in many ways recovery is just beginning as the newly recovering person leaves the safety and structure of a treatment centre and re-enters the “real world”. Aftercare is an important element in the newly clean and sober person’s the recovery plan and joining a group led by a qualified addictions counsellor offers support, structure, encouragement and guidance.

Pegasus Recovery Solutions offers a number aftercare group options:

Daytime Co-ed - Thursday 10 - 12

Evening Co-ed - runs Monday 5 - 7 pm

Evening Women’s - runs Wednesday 5 - 7 pm

Evening Men’s - runs Tuesday 5 - 7 pm

On-line Video Conference Group - Thursday’s 1 - 2:30

Anyone who has completed an intensive abstinence focussed residential or outpatient treatment program is eligible to join after and initial intake and assessment. There are many “firsts” in the first year of sobriety! With the support of peers and the counsellor in group these can be faced successfully - clean and sober.

Cost:

One month - $160

Three months - $460

Six months - $900

Initial 1 hour assessment/intake appointment - $100
